On Thursday, June 27, 2024, the University of Cape Coast’s Students’ Financial Support Office (STUFSO) hosted representatives from Pecan Energies’ CSR Department and ESL Consulting.
The Student’s Financial Support Office, in line with the goals and policies of the University of Cape Coast, seeks to make quality tertiary education accessible to any individuals who might not have the financial means to support themselves up the academic ladder.

The University of Cape Coast does not want a lack of funding to stop any student from his/her professional growth. As a University which provides equal opportunity to all students and wants every student to succeed, we offer a number of financial support options to Needy but brilliant students in their academic pursuits through the Students’ Financial Support Office.
Our Objectives
In actualizing its vision and mission statements within the contexts of the core values, StuFSO shall seek to create a financial environment that will enable Needy-but-brilliant students of the University of Cape Coast to complete their studies successfully.
Specifically, StuFSO shall seek to achieve the following objectives:
- Provide financial support in the form of bursaries and scholarships to Needy but brilliant students of the University of Cape Coast.
- Ensure transparency in administering financial assistance to students.
- Identify university-based paid jobs that could be offered to students by the University to support their upkeep and training needs without compromising their academic work.
- Engage in aggressive fundraising activities for the sustainability of StuFSO.
PROPELED International is Hosting and Awarding a Ghs 10,000 scholarship to brilliant Ghanaians students at their upcoming SOAR EVENT.

The deadline for applications is the 31st July, 2022 with the winner announced at the SOAR event on Friday the 19th of August, 2022.
To be eligible for consideration for the Centralized Scholarship/Bursary Scheme administered by StuFSO, the applicant must satisfy the following conditions:

During the 56th Congregation's Open Day event, TV UCC conducted an insightful interview with representatives from the Students' Financial Support Office (StuFSO) and the Gold Fields Ghana Foundation.
The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation Scholars Association held its annual meeting on 13th January 2024, with the Students’ Financial Support Office (StuFSO) in attendance.
On February 6th, 2024, the management of the Confucius Institute at the University of Cape Coast invited the Students’ Financial Support Office (StuFSO) to educate its students about the financial assistance services available.
As part of the 56th Congregation of the University of Cape Coast, an Open Day event was held on Monday, 22nd January 2024, at the forecourt of the Sam Jonah Library.
